For my New Year's resolution at the start of 2008, I challenged myself to read 50 books this year. This group is for anyone who wishes to take up the challenge. You can set your own start/end dates, and there's no special prize other than the satisfaction of having met the goal and the enjoyment and learning you get from reading all those books.

The books can be anything. Fiction or nonfiction. Read what you like, or use this as a chance to expand your reading horizons. It's up to you.

All submissions to the group will be moderated. Book reviews/suggestions are always accepted whether you are participating in the challenge or not. Reports of personal progress on the 50 books are encouraged, as are lists of books (either read or to be read) and articles to motivate your fellow readers.

Off-topic articles will be declined.
